On August 28, 2024, our E-REP team, along with partners from Conexus, the IEDC, and the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet, had the privilege of visiting Alcoa for a Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) visit. We were given a firsthand look at Alcoa’s advanced smelting processes, energy generation, and their ambitious carbon-neutral goals. 🌱⚡
As one of the largest employers in Warrick County, Alcoa plays a crucial role in our local economy, driving innovation and sustainability in the region. We are incredibly grateful to Alcoa for hosting us and providing an in-depth tour of their facility. The visit not only reinforced our commitment to supporting local businesses but also highlighted the importance of collaboration in achieving shared goals.
