When We Fly Local, Our Region Soars
There are few assets more valuable to our region than our airport. Evansville Regional Airport fuels our economy and helps create a quality of place that people have come to expect. Whether a necessity to our businesses or to our vacation plans, our local airport affects us all.
We are often asked what can be done to get more flights at EVV. Well, EVV has the answer. The airport’s launch of Fly EVV First is both grassroots and change-making. It is the simple ask of our community to choose our region rather than taking your money elsewhere. It is our opportunity to make a difference in our community’s air service.
In our region, only about 63% of our residents choose EVV. Every time we drive to another airport to fly, we are telling the airlines that they don’t have to come to Evansville. Even a 5% change shows the airlines we mean business and are dedicated to our local airport’s growth. Imagine what a 10, 20 or even 30% growth in passenger usage could mean. More planes, more frequency and more destinations at EVV. Join me and other fellow members of the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership in committing to Fly EVV First.
