Friday, April 29, 2022 – Evansville native and five-time Olympic medalist, Lilly King does it again! Competing at the 2022 USA Swimming International Team Trials, King hit the wall in 2:21.19, which earned her a number one ranking in the world. 
Lilly King held off Kate Douglass by just under a quarter of a second, 2:21.19 to 2:21.43, while the reigning bronze medalist, Annie Lazor, took third with a 2:21.91 time.
In June, King will represent Team USA in the 200M breaststroke at the World Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
