WHAT: The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (Commission) will hold a field hearing in Evansville to hear from the public on the rate case petition of Evansville Municipal Water Works under Cause No. 45545.
WHEN: Aug. 12, 2021, at 6 p.m. local time (rescheduled from Aug. 4)
WHERE: University of Evansville, Shanklin Theater, 1800 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47722
WHY: Evansville Municipal Water Works has filed a petition before the Commission for a new schedule of rates and charges for water utility service.
HOW: During field hearings, ratepayers have the opportunity to speak directly to the Commission or submit written comments. Please note, though, that because this is a pending case, the Commissioners and Judge are not allowed to answer questions or engage in any discussion about the case. Those individuals who are unable to attend may submit written comments to the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor at www.in.gov/oucc/2361.htm. Ratepayers also can submit their comments by mail or email:
